Not Prison Break, just Toilet Break!

I'm sure throughout the short lifespan of our working lives, we've heard of the various types of excuses people gave for being late to work, or not turning up for work. Some are true, some aren't...

So what if you are the boss, and one day, you receive a text from one of your staff saying:
"I am so sorry that I will be late today, I got stuck in the toilet, and I just broke a hole in it and managed to crawl out of it. I will be in office soon."

Will you believe this staff?

I wasn't sure if my ex-boss believed me, so I snapped some photos as evidence. And YES, weird things such as this, tend to happen to only people like me. And YES, this is a true story that happened in 2008, while I was still with my ex-company.

Smartphones weren't all the rampage back in 2008, otherwise, those photos would've made it into Instagram as a collage, into Twitter as a series of tweets, and on Facebook as a Notepost & FB Album (which I loaded up eventually).

So yes, here's the proof: THE DOOR (Many have heard of the series Prison Break, but here's Toilet Break! :P )

It's been awesome

It's been more than a year since I posted anything. How time flies.

Before everyone else starts writing about their new year resolutions, as well as what took place throughout the whole of 2013, let me start first before all of you start getting bored of such stories.

This year has been an awesome one, more ups than downs. How about yours?

Here's why mine has been awesome (a bit too premature to say since the year hasn't ended yet, you think?):

Reason #1: 
Gained the ultimate freedom by being single again, and learned that I never compromised being who I am throughout the process of putting up with a selfish, manipulative, cowardly character.

Reason #2: 
Two new additions to the family - my bro & sis-in-law gave birth to my nephew - Cheah #Jowson; and my sista-from-another-motha Tabitha also gave birth to a baby girl - Shamira! :) Here they are:

Reason #3: 

Managed to visit a few places I've never been to before: Cambodia (Phnom Penh), and Macau (like FINALLY - can't believe I've worked with an airline for nearly 5yrs and yet never set foot in Macau before this..whoops). 

Reason #4: 

Because I know I have an awesome family & amazing friends who don't judge and despite time and distance, are always there for me :) 

Reason #5: 

The appearance of MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodles - best thing in the world right now! (Haha, well, this is sort of an exaggeration, but what's #dcuj without some exaggeration, eh?)
